Survey and boundaries
Mark the proposed fence runs on the survey. Identify the house connections, adjoining property and any easements before treating the full lawn as available enclosure space.
FLORIDA FENCE PROS · ESTERO
A Bella Terra fence project starts with the rules for your home and the area you want to enclose. Florida Fence Pros helps turn your survey, community requirements and everyday access needs into a clear project scope.
Bella Terra’s official website identifies the community in Estero and provides separate resources for the master association, single-family homes, villas, townhomes and condominiums. Start with the documents that apply to your home type; one neighbor’s arrangement may not apply to yours.
The 2025 amended and restated master declaration, Section 5.10, requires written ARC approval for fences and addresses lots bordering lakes, preserves, streets and roads. It also restricts approval where a fence would materially obstruct water, preserve or wetland views. Confirm the current criteria and any neighborhood requirements with management.
Mark the proposed fence runs on the survey. Identify the house connections, adjoining property and any easements before treating the full lawn as available enclosure space.
Ask which material, color, height and panel configuration may be reviewed for your address. An open-view design still needs the applicable written approval.
Decide where people and maintenance equipment need access. Show gate widths and swing direction so the proposal accounts for everyday use and service access.
Our aluminum fence information can help explain product options once the permitted design is established. A product shown on our website is not a statement that it is allowed at every Bella Terra property.
For an existing fence or pedestrian gate, photograph the damaged area and identify the original style, posts, connections and hardware. Tell us whether the goal is a limited repair, matching replacement or a change to the layout. Ask management whether that scope needs a new review.
For villas, townhomes or condominiums, establish who owns and maintains the exterior area before authorizing work. Association representatives can also request an assessment of an authorized community fence or gate project.

Use the same proposed layout, materials and gate details for the applicable reviews. If the layout changes after an approval, confirm what must be revised before work starts. For a parcel within the Village, consult Estero Community Development for the permit requirements.
The Village’s easement disclosure form highlights why title and easement review matters: a fence within an easement may have to be removed at the owner’s expense when the easement holder requests it.

No. Ask the association to confirm whether the proposed fence type and location are eligible for your lot before selecting a product. A neighboring installation or a contractor estimate does not establish approval.
Your address, survey, current community requirements and an explanation of the intended use. Include any written approval, desired gate openings and photographs of an existing fence that needs repair.
