Start with Bonita Landing’s current requirements.

Bonita Landing is in Bonita Springs, Lee County. The community has a homeowners association and a Community Development District (CDD). Begin a residential fence request with the Bonita Landing HOA portal and ask management for the current architectural application and fence criteria.

Confirm whether your proposed enclosure is allowed for your specific lot before selecting a product. Ask for written guidance on material, color, height, placement and gates. We have not verified a current public fence specification, so this guide does not prescribe a particular design.

The Bonita Landing CDD is a separate entity. If a proposed fence or construction access could affect district land or infrastructure, identify the owner and obtain the appropriate direction. An HOA decision does not establish permission to work on someone else’s property.

Bring these details to your estimate.

01 · SURVEY

Mark the proposed enclosure.

Use a survey to show the house, property lines, proposed fence runs and each gate. Flag easements, drainage features and any lake or shared-property boundary for review.

02 · EVERYDAY USE

Plan the gate openings.

Explain how people, pets and lawn equipment will use the yard. Include the clear opening you need and where a gate can swing without blocking a path or landscaping.

03 · INSTALLATION ACCESS

Identify a workable route.

Show how materials and equipment can reach the work area. Discuss irrigation, plantings and any access that would cross another owner’s land before scheduling.

New fences, repairs and gate work.

For a new enclosure, we can review the proposed dimensions and prepare a scope based on the requirements you provide. Keep the approved plan with the estimate so the material, gate positions and fence route remain consistent.

For a damaged existing fence or gate, bring photographs and any previous approval. A repair assessment should distinguish a loose hinge or damaged panel from a change to the fence’s design or location. Ask the HOA whether the proposed work requires a fresh submission.

Pool-related work needs a separate review of barrier and gate requirements. Tell us if the fence will form part of a pool barrier so the intended use is included from the start.

Review the City of Bonita Springs permit resources for the applicable process. Association approval and government permits are separate steps; confirm the requirements for the actual scope before construction.

A clear path from idea to installation.

Gather the current association documents, survey and project photos. Review the proposed work at an onsite estimate, submit the required application, and resolve any requested changes before work is scheduled. Keep written approvals available for the final layout review.

Bonita Landing project questions.

Does Bonita Landing allow the fence I want?

Request a current decision from HOA management for your address and proposed design. The publicly accessible portal does not establish a universal fence specification for every lot.

Is CDD approval the same as HOA approval?

No. Start the architectural request with the HOA. Separately clarify ownership and any permissions needed if the work affects CDD property or infrastructure.

Can I get an estimate before the HOA decision?

Yes. Bring your survey and the current requirements so we can discuss a proposed scope. Any changes required during approval should be reflected in the final project plan.
